You can bind in the console as described here:

in Oz you can go into the console and type help and it will tell you what to bind as well.
Otherwise you can modify your player config file in .../valve/config/player.cfg . At least that's where I think it is, I just shut down my Windows machine and am too lazy to check.

a friend of mine, and after countless reinstalls, which I do periodically, I've lost things I wish I still had, and can't find on the internet anymore. One of those being, how or where to create the file to use the grappling hook, drop rune and other user customizations. It's been too long, and as I said, I'm lost.
